Job description

At the information desk, our volunteers are the first point of contact between visitors and the democratic process.

During Legislative Session, the information desk helps visitors participate in the lawmaking process, from watching House or Senate Floor to testifying in Committee.

During the interim, our info desk provides a touchpoint for visitors to Salem. Share what's happening in the building, upcoming tours or events, and some other Salem highlights people may be interested in seeing. Provide information on other state agencies and legislator offices in the building and nearby.
