What You’ll Do:

As the Director of Inflight Catering Operations, you will oversee a dynamic, high-volume production, logistics and customer service operation at the Minneapolis facility. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving operational performance, managing a team of department managers and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance standards are met. You will work closely with the General Manager to develop strategies, optimize processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your role will involve engaging with key airline clients, managing a large team, and implementing initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple departments, ensuring performance and service excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Directly manage and develop a team of 10 managers and indirectly oversee approx. 600 additional staff members, setting clear performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, HR, and finance to meet organizational goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with airline clients and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and regulatory standards.


Qualifications You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale operations or manufacturing.
  • Proven experience managing multiple departments and leading managers.
  • Director level experience in a similar capacity.
  • Strong customer-facing leadership presence required; airline experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment with strategic decision-making skills.
  • Experience developing and holding leaders accountable.
