Job description

We're Hiring 5 Team Members for Our June Swing Shift Training Class!
Get paid to learn how to build Wing Inflatable Boats.
WHO WE ARE
For more than 30 years, Wing Inflatables has built high-performance inflatable boats and equipment trusted by rescue workers, the Coast Guard, Navy SEALs, river rafting guides, and kayakers. Our products are designed for lightweight speed, agility, durability, and safety on the water.
POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for building rafts and sponsons according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications while maintaining quality standards and production schedules. Team members glue and bond materials, measure and place accessories, apply coatings and logos, and help ensure finished products meet customer expectations.
Advanced finishers may also assist with training, offsite installations, or repair work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Mix and apply industrial adhesives
  • Assemble inflatable boats and components using hand tools and heat tools
  • Measure, trim, and fit materials to product specifications
  • Install ropes, handles, accessories, and protective materials
  • Inspect air chambers and seams to ensure products are sealed and leak-free
  • Clean, inspect, and package finished products
  • Follow quality control and safety procedures throughout the production process
SAFETY & WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Work is performed in a safety-conscious production environment
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and working in tight spaces
  • Regular lifting and moving of materials up to 90 lbs
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for pulling and positioning materials
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Frequent exposure to airborne particles, fumes, and industrial chemicals
  • Half-mask respirator required when working with wet chemicals
  • PPE required at all times as directed

WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
  • Steady full-time work and/or school history with explainable employment gaps and strong professional references
  • Experience using hand tools, rollers, heat guns, and other powered or manual tools preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform basic math calculations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately and efficiently

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, including willingness to work overtime when needed
