Since opening their first shop in 1975, Industrial Valve has been committed to delivering outstanding customer service and taking care of their employees. The company focuses on the sales, reconditioning, and repair of various types of valves for industries like power, chemical, and gas refining.
Duties and Requirements
โ€ข Receive Purchase Orders (POs) and Transfer Orders (TOs) into NetSuite and update records to the appropriate Received status.
โ€ข Upload and maintain all applicable Purchase Order and Transfer Order documentation within NetSuite, ensuring records are complete and properly organized.
โ€ข Receive, sort, and distribute incoming packages from UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and outside vendors, directing materials to the appropriate departments
โ€ข Process incoming PO documentation received through UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and outside vendors by entering the appropriate information into NetSuite and uploading supporting documentation.
โ€ข Prepare outgoing shipping documentation for freight shipments, including FedEx Freight, Southeastern, and other applicable freight carriers.
โ€ข Prepare and organize required documentation for outgoing packages and customer pickups, ensuring shipments are properly documented prior to release.
โ€ข Order bottled water and maintain the water supply for the Service Shop through Publix on a weekly as-needed basis.
โ€ข Assist the Traffic Department with the preparation and completion of incoming valve work in Intellus during routine downtime and periods of increased workload, including large jobs, outages, shutdowns, and other high-volume work. This
includes accurately entering valve and customer information, reviewing incoming documentation for completeness and accuracy, verifying required fields and information, attaching required supporting documentation and photographs, identifying missing or inconsistent information, and communicating discrepancies to the appropriate Traffic personnel or supervisor for clarification prior to completion.
โ€ข Operate forklifts to safely transport materials, equipment, and pallets between departments, storage areas, loading areas, and shipping locations.
โ€ข Load and unload trucks and trailers and place materials on storage racks, ensuring proper pallet positioning, weight distribution, and load stability.
โ€ข Secure materials and loads using appropriate wrapping, shrink-wrapping, or other approved methods and verify pallet stability before movement or shipment.
โ€ข Follow all applicable safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and company policies while performing job duties and operating material-handling equipment to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
โ€ข Capable of working with Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, and Outlook.
โ€ข Must have good communication Skills, along with a good work ethic.
