Job description

Starflex Fabrication Inc. is seeking a dependable Industrial Sandblaster to join our manufacturing team.

This position is responsible for preparing fabricated metal parts and heavy weldments for finishing by operating industrial sandblasting equipment. Previous sandblasting experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Operate industrial sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal parts and weldments
  • Load, unload, move, and position parts and weldments weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Wear a protective suit and required personal protective equipment for extended periods
  • Work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods
  • Inspect completed parts to ensure proper surface preparation
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable of performing the work, and willing to learn.
