Sandblasting Trainee 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $16-$17 Hourly

Entry-level industrial role responsible for sandblasting precision tank heads, checking for defects to ensure compliance with job specifications, and maintaining safe, efficient production workflows.
Entry-level candidates welcome; prior manufacturing, shop, or blasting experience is helpful but training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate blasting equipment to sandblast and prep tank heads according to production timelines.
Inspect pressed tank heads for defects, damage, or non-compliance using basic measurement skills and job travelers, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
Move materials and parts safely around the shop floor, potentially utilizing a forklift or supporting team logistics.
Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while keeping the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines
Ability to read and instructions, interpret part drawings/job travelers, and perform basic measurements
