Description

The Maintenance Manager, will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the maintenance department in concerns with design, construction, modification and maintenance of equipment and machinery in both of our production facilities Located in Auburn Hills & Pontiac, MI. The Ideal candidate will be able to manage and delegate project responsibilities to a small team of Maintenance technicians. As well as jump in and help the team when necessary.

Reports to: Plant Manager
Direct Reports: Sr. Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician
 
Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a multi-shift department of Maintenance Technicians
  • Performing management and administrative tasks for the maintenance team
  • Keeping up to date with training for maintenance team
  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department
  • Evaluates and coordinates systems and facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
  • Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely matter
  • Ensures a safe work environment and adherence to company safety policies
  • Completes purchase orders to ensure appropriate spare parts and tools are available for the maintenance team to successfully complete their job

Qualifications:

  • Extensive Knowledge of facilities systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify issues and determine which repairs are needed
  • Strong management, supervisory, and leadership skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • ISO 14001 and ISO9000 experience
  • Storm Water Certification
