About the Role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and mechanical systems. You’ll work independently, manage your own tasks, and support a strong team environment to keep our operations running smoothly.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using manuals, diagrams, and precision measuring tools (e.g., VOMs, amp meters, micrometers, calipers, pressure/flow meters).
  • Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct basic PLC diagnostics and machine troubleshooting.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and gas welding on steel, aluminum, and copper components.
  • Fabricate parts and repairs using shop tools such as lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
  • Maintain parts and supply inventory; assist with ordering and receiving.
  • Log maintenance activities and track trends using maintenance software.
  • Support emergency repairs and respond quickly to breakdowns.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Collaborate with team members while staying accountable for individual tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Trade certification or technical degree preferred—or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, self-sufficient approach to work.
  • Welding experience (MIG and TIG required).
  • Familiarity with electrical basics, plumbing, and power tools.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision while contributing to team goals.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) is a plus.
