This Opportunity:

  • Lead the planning, development, coordination, and delivery of impactful industrial projects for a diverse portfolio of clients

  • Manage SEH engineering design and construction phase services from concept through implementation

  • Build lasting client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the lifecycle of projects

  • Partner with clients to understand their operational goals and develop practical, innovative engineering solutions

  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, design standards, and emerging technologies through active professional involvement

  • Develop project approaches, scopes, schedules, and fee proposals that position projects for success

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity

  • Experience managing engineering projects for industrial, manufacturing, energy, food processing, or other private-sector clients

  • Proven project management experience, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination

  • Experience developing client relationships, preparing proposals, and contributing to successful business development efforts

  • Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and translate them into effective engineering solutions

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating subconsultants

  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to travel for client meetings, site visits, project coordination, and business development activities; occasional overnight travel may be required


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fifteen (15) or more years of progressive engineering experience

  • Experience serving industrial and manufacturing clients in a consulting environment

  • Experience leading complex facility, site development, infrastructure, or capital improvement projects

  • Demonstrated success growing client relationships and securing repeat business opportunities

  • Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership to project teams

  • Familiarity with industrial facility operations, permitting requirements, and construction implementation

  • Experience leading teams and contributing to the strategic growth of an engineering practice
