Overview:
The Indoor Plant Technician associate performs work in the maintenance, care and modification of indoor locations.
Responsibilities:
- Including watering, pruning, fertilizing and pest management of indoor locations.
- Regular monitoring of the health of plants, identify and address any sign of distress.
- Perform season changes in plants and décor.
- Prepare indoor locations for use by guests as needed by resort operations.
- Safely operates light vehicles such as utility vehicles and pick-up trucks obeying applicable traffic laws and following operator instructions.
- Wearing appropriate safety items such as goggles, gloves or other appropriate protective clothing.
- Ensures that equipment is operational and cleaning of tools, equipment and machines within reasonable capabilities.
- Contributes to the overall success of the resort by performing all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience: None required.
Skills: The ability to read English language sufficiently to understand written work orders and instructions as well as directions for the proper mixture, use, and disposal/storage of cleaners, solvents, chemicals, fertilizers and similar products used is required.
Effort: Requires the ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, prolonged walking or standing, and frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching on a daily basis.
