About Our Family
We are a dynamic, warm family in transition as we navigate summer schedules with a thoughtful approach. Our household includes an entrepreneurial single mom, an active and social 10-year old son, and two affectionate dogs (a 7-year-old Lab mix and an energetic 8-month-old Border Collie/Lab mix puppy).
Mom works from home full-time running a consulting business. She manages a team and client relations via remote meetings and occasional travel. She loves cooking and all things food-related, caring for her indoor plants, and tending to her garden.
After years of managing everything on our own, we are ready to bring in support to help restore balance and organization in our home. We value long-term relationships and want someone who genuinely becomes a trusted part of our everyday lives.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You are someone who is proactive, thoughtful, observant, and capable of taking ownership of daily tasks. You are a warm and emotionally intelligent person who can joke with our 10-year old while also providing highly capable household management.
You bring a positive disposition that helps keep things light. You're a naturally organized and tidy person who enjoys creating a clean environment without making others feel judged. You're intuitive and can read the room, knowing when to chat and when to focus quietly on tasks. You're motivated, reliable, and able to see what needs attention without constant direction.
You genuinely enjoy dogs and are comfortable with active, affectionate pets who love to play. You connect well with kids and can adapt to their energy. You're looking for a friendly working relationship with a family, not overly formal but always professional. You're comfortable with an evolving family structure and bring maturity and life experience to your work.
