The organization's mission is to embolden the conservative base through grassroots activism and provide voters with the necessary resources to elect true conservative leaders. Turning Point Action has emerged as the country's leading grassroots organization, giving individuals the opportunity and platform to run for office at the local level, providing voters with critical information surrounding their district's candidates and elections, allowing them unparalleled access to some of the most impactful figures in the movement. Intern Description:

Turning Point Action is seeking a highly skilled, exceptional organizer, and motivated individual to support the administrative needs for TPAction's innovative and large Chase the Vote Initiative. The Chase the Vote Intern is responsible for assisting the Administrative team in completing day-to-day tasks critical to the functioning and success of TPA's Chase The Vote program. Such tasks may include but are not limited to: data entry, proof-reading/editing, putting together training materials, and anything else related to trainings. Attention to detail is a must. The ideal candidate must fit the company and department culture, embodying the following traits: grassroots humility, warrior spirit, and persistent innovation.
*This is a paid internship*

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete duties assigned by Chase the Vote team.
  • Assist the strategic department with inputting data.
  • Stay updated on all relevant news and media.
  • Promote the Chase the Vote program
  • Assist in office management.
  • Setting up trainings and putting together training materials
  • Work cooperative with other team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent oral, written, and professional communication skills
  • Knowledge of Google Suite and data entry
  • Passion for conservative ideas and principles
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and goal-oriented
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Punctual and highly responsive

WOW SKILLS

  • Prior involvement with Turning Point Action, its affiliates, and/or political campaigns
  • Experience in teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive knowledge of party politics and political landscapes
