Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Front Office Manager

Hotel Indigo โ€“ Downtown Baton Rouge, LA

Full-Time | Exempt

This Role Runs the First Impression

At Hotel Indigo Downtown Baton Rouge, the Front Office is not just a departmentโ€”itโ€™s the center of the guest experience.

Weโ€™re hiring a Front Office Manager who leads from the floor, not the office. Someone who owns the moment a guest walks through the door, sets the pace for the team, and ensures every shift runs with precision, urgency, and professionalism.

If you know how to take control of a busy lobby, motivate a team in real time, and turn challenges into smooth solutions, this is your role.

What Youโ€™ll Own

  • The full performance of Front Desk operationsโ€”every shift, every day
  • A team that reflects your standards: well-trained, accountable, and guest-focused
  • The guest experience from check-in to check-out, including service recovery
  • Real-time decision-making as Manager on Duty
  • Strong communication across departments to keep the hotel running clean and efficient
  • Accuracy in reporting, cash handling, and system integrity
  • Consistent execution of brand standards and operating procedures

What You Bring

  • Proven Front Office or hotel leadership experience
  • A strong, visible leadership styleโ€”you take control and set the tone
  • The ability to stay sharp, calm, and solutions-focused in a fast-moving environment
  • High standards for service, team performance, and accountability
  • Clear communication and strong operational awareness
  • A mindset that doesnโ€™t wait for problemsโ€”you get in front of them

This is a leadership role that requires full flexibility. You must be available to work:

  • Evenings
  • Weekends
  • Holidays
  • Extended hours when business demands it

This position requires someone who is present when the operation needs themโ€”not limited to a fixed schedule.

Why This Opportunity Matters

This is a high-impact role in a boutique hotel where the Front Office sets the tone for everything.

You wonโ€™t be managing from a distance. Youโ€™ll be directly shaping:

  • Guest satisfaction
  • Team culture
  • Daily operational success

Your leadership will be seenโ€”and feltโ€”immediately.

Apply Now

If youโ€™re ready to step into a role where your presence, decisions, and leadership make a visible difference every day, apply now.
