Facility: Fort Peck Service Unit โ€“ Indian Health Service (IHS)

Work Locations:

Chief Redstone Health Center
Address: 550 6th Avenue North, Wolf Point, MT 59201

Duration: 12 Months

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete

Shift: Days

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM (schedule coordinated with the CEO and/or Area Director of Quality)

Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $60โ€“$65/hr

Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400โ€“$2,600/week

Job Summary

Fort Peck Service Unit is seeking an experienced Infection Control Registered Nurse to oversee infection prevention and control activities throughout the facility. The RN will develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention programs, conduct surveillance activities, educate staff, and ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission, and Indian Health Service infection prevention standards.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of Registered Nurse experience

Previous Infection Control experience required

Strong knowledge of infection prevention principles and regulatory standards

Excellent communication and education skills

Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Candidates must have prior Indian Health Service (IHS) Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) experience.

Required Credentials

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or territory

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Minimum 3 years of RN experience

Infection Control experience required

Previous IHS PRC experience (Required)

BLS Certification (preferred if required by facility)
