Video Editor

Kinder's

Walnut Creek, CA

Full-time

Posted 19 days ago

Job description

BUILT ON FLAVOR. FUELED BY PEOPLE.

What's it like to work at Kinder's? Well, there's a lot of snacking and geeking out over what we all cooked over the weekend. Beyond that, there's also plenty of hard work. Because we don't just like flavor, we're obsessed with it.

With over 100 products sold nationwide, we're now a top-five brand in multiple flavor categories at Costco, Walmart, Whole Foods, and more. We're not your typical CPG company. Privately held and founder-led, we like to think of ourselves as a pirate ship in a sea of cruise ships. Our crew is adventurous and fearless. We chart our own course and chase big ideas to make food unforgettable.

As we expand globally and approach $1 billion in revenue, we need more smart-and-scrappy, flavor-obsessed people to come aboard. If you're looking for a place where you can see the real impact of your work... this is it! Every day, you'll be part of a journey to add flavor to millions of meals and lives.

  • Perform color correction, audio editing, and sound mixing to ensure broadcast-ready quality.
  • Add motion graphics, lower thirds, titles, captions, and simple animations when needed.
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, tone, and visual identity across all edits.
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining creative integrity and production timelines.
  • Ensure timely delivery of final assets, including proper versioning for different platforms and formats.
Project & Workflow Management:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often with overlapping deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization.
  • Take ownership of projects from initial edit through final delivery, sometimes with minimal supervision.
  • Organize media assets, project files, and archives to ensure easy access and long-term usability.
  • Follow established workflows and naming conventions to support team efficiency.
Self-Motivation & Continuous Improvement:
  • Work independently and proactively, identifying solutions and improvements without being asked.
  • Stay current on video trends, social platform best practices, and editing techniques relevant to consumer brands.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency, storytelling, and production quality.
Production Support:
  • Assist with on-set production support such as media management syncing audio or creating quick turnaround edits.

  • Willingness to embrace our brand identity and how we present that identity to the public and our stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for getting things right whatever it takes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders and drive on-time project delivery.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro or other comparable NLE software (broader experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus).
  • Experience with digital asset management (DAM) or content management system (CMS) tools a plus (we currently use Canto/ImageRelay).
  • Experience in managing Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Cloud-based file management systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital media file formats, camera and audio capture technology, aspect ratios and delivery requirements.

SEASONED FOR SUCCESS:
  • No two days here are the same.
  • We try to be good team members and good communicators, but we don't live by hierarchy and structure – everyone is a difference maker here.
  • We make a lot of decisions in the face of incomplete information – our team embraces ambiguity and tries to make good decisions fast rather than great decisions slow.
  • We believe our job is to take smart risk, not to eliminate risk.
  • We believe in growing our skills and becoming a better company with more managerial expertise, but we are an entrepreneurial company at heart.
  • We aren't trying to be average – we want to do exceptional things, and we are willing to work hard to achieve them.

OUR RECIPE FOR BALANCE:

We believe great culture starts with people. We're a people-first company built on connection, collaboration, and balance.
