About This Role

An exciting opportunity to manage and create content for digital channels for key kids programmes for a global leader in the production and distribution of children and family content.

The role is focused on creation of content, implementation, and operations for all assigned digital channels and brands. This role involves the creation and repackaging of content and the daily operations of our latest shows. You will be responsible for growing viewership and revenue for these brands across the world. If you love working with outstanding kids' content and have a strong YouTube and video editing skillset, we'd love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone with experience working with YouTube, social media and/or similar CMS driven platforms. The ideal candidate will possess video and graphic editing, plus delivery workflow knowledge. An interest and familiarity with children's content is preferential.

Duties

  • Plan and create exciting and engaging high-quality short and long-form video content across a catalogue of children and family entertainment brands.

  • Develop original YouTube metadata, including SEO-optimised titles, descriptions and tags, and reviewing policies, ensuring strong brand compliance.

  • Design high-quality thumbnails and artwork to maximise CTR and align with brand guidelines.

  • Conduct independent quality assurance checks on video edits, metadata and thumbnails prior to publication.

  • Optimise, package and schedule content across multiple YouTube channels, ensuring accuracy, quality control and adherence to channel publishing schedules.

  • Manage a varied workload within a fast-paced weekly post-production cycle, independently balancing competing priorities to consistently meet weekly re-packaging output and publishing deadlines.

  • Maintain and update content planning documents and shared team spreadsheets to support workflow visibility and cross-team coordination, ensuring accuracy, consistency and adherence to established formatting and team processes.

  • Plan, produce and deliver high-quality clips, Shorts, thematic and non-thematic video content across multiple languages and channels simultaneously, ensuring consistent programming, localisation and publishing standards.

  • Create cloud-based screener files (platform masters) via programme master files.

  • Utilise internal asset management systems to manage video assets and metadata throughout the end-to-end content production process, following established workflows to maintain consistency, accuracy and efficient content delivery to YouTube.

  • Perform routine checks through the YouTube CMS to manually claim unauthorised use of owned content, ensuring comprehensive digital rights management and protection.

  • Ad-hoc department duties as requested by Line Manager and Head of Department.

Knowledge & Skills

  • A creative, detail-oriented video editor with strong understanding of digital audiences and experience working on both short and long-form video content.

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop. Further experience with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Motion Graphics is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word) and Google Suite/Workspace.

  • Previous experience publishing on YouTube is essential. Knowledge of Amazon Prime Video Direct/Slate is a plus.

  • Experience using digital asset management systems and collaborative planning/documentation tools is desirable.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and consistently meet fast-paced weekly turnaround and deadlines.

  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively while balancing multiple brands, languages and publishing schedules.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to consistently produce accurate work and adhere to established formatting, documentation and quality assurance standards.

  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks and confidently follow established workflows after completing training.

  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to proactively raise issues, seek clarification when required and collaborate effectively within a team.

  • Efficient, proactive and adaptable, with the ability to learn new systems quickly and continually improve workflows through effective use of digital tools and systems.

  • Ability to remain calm and organised while working under pressure.
