Job description

Golden Oak Nursing APC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 1099 independent contractor private-duty opportunity in Los Gatos, CA.


We are looking for an RN with a strong clinical background who is confident working independently with a medically complex client in a private-home setting. ICU, Critical Care, or Emergency Room (ER) experience is strongly preferred.


Clinical experience preferred:


PICC line care and management

IV therapy

Foley catheter care and management

G-tube/J-tube care and management

Medication administration

Comprehensive nursing assessments

Recognition of changes in condition and appropriate clinical response

Experience caring for medically complex or higher-acuity patients


Requirements:


Active California RN license in good standing

Current BLS certification

Current professional liability/malpractice insurance

Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently

ICU, Critical Care, or ER experience strongly preferred


Compensation: $80–$100/hour, based on experience and clinical background.
