What is an independent contractor manager?

Independent Contractor Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of independent contractors within an organization. Their main duties include recruiting, onboarding, managing contracts, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and serving as a point of contact between the organization and contractors. They also monitor contractor performance and may handle payment and dispute resolution. This role is crucial for businesses that rely on a flexible workforce to achieve project goals while maintaining legal and operational standards.
