We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Night Stocker to join our team at Price Chopper. In this role, you'll play a critical part in preparing the store for the next day-stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring the store is clean, full, and ready for a seamless shopping experience when doors open.At Price Chopper, we're more than a grocery store-we're a team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through quality products, strong teamwork, and consistent execution. As part of the Balls Food Stores family, we offer the stability of a locally owned company with deep community roots.This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active, and taking pride in completing essential work that keeps the store running efficiently and ready for guests.Key Responsibilities & Job DutiesStock, rotate, and face products to ensure shelves are full, organized, and ready for guestsUnload pallets and transport merchandise to designated aisles safely and efficientlyBreak down boxes, dispose of packaging materials, and maintain a clean, organized stockroom and sales floorMaintain accurate product placement, pricing, and shelf organizationEnsure aisles, backroom areas, and fixtures are clean, safe, and well-maintainedMonitor inventory levels and report low, excess, or damaged items to leadershipAssist with overnight cleaning tasks such as sweeping aisles, wiping fixtures, and preparing displays for openingOperate equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, scanners, and related tools safely and efficientlyFollow all workplace safety, food safety, and sanitation standardsWork efficiently and independently during non-peak hours to complete stocking and recovery tasksCommunicate clearly and respectfully with teammates and leadership to support efficient overnight operationsCollaborate across departments to support storewide efficiency and readinessAdhere to all company policies and procedures, including attendance, conduct, and dress code standardsSupport loss prevention efforts by staying alert and following proper proceduresParticipate in required trainings and continuous learning opportunitiesRemain productive throughout the shift by organizing backstock and improving shelf conditionsOther job duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsRequired: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experienceRequired: Ability to work overnight shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPreferred: Experience in grocery, retail, stocking, or warehouse environments
