Who we are

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Central Ohio, we’re a privately-owned, independent healthcare navigation organization. • No C2C only direct employment of 1099 Contractor.

What you’ll do

  • Lead frontend and mobile application architecture using React, React Native, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

  • Mentor engineers and promote software engineering best practices.
  • Champion code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.
  • Support production troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise with React, React Native, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building scalable web and mobile applications.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and backend systems.
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud environments and modern application architecture.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or other relational databases.
  • Experience with responsive design, accessibility, performance optimization, and component-based architecture.
  • Experience with design systems and UI frameworks such as Material UI or Ant Design.
  • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Protect and take care of our company and member’s data every day by committing to work within our company ethics and policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, health technology, payer, provider, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI, and secure software development practices.
  • Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
  • Experience evaluating build-versus-buy solutions and vendor technologies.
