Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Physio Recovery Center in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will collaborate closely with patients to restore their mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. You will be instrumental in implementing personalized rehabilitation plans to meet individual goals, ensuring that each patient has the support they need to achieve optimal function.

Physio Recovery Center is a leading outpatient physical therapy practice located in Rochester, NY, specialized in orthopedic rehabilitation. Our facility spans over 5,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine technology. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient care and have established a collaborative environment where practitioners are empowered to deliver evidence-based interventions. Our focus is on patient-centered care, and we primarily work with individuals covered by private medical insurance.

Work Environment

The role is fully onsite in our modern outpatient office where you will be part of a close-knit team consisting of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). You will be expected to work at full capacity during the standard hours of Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, seeing 2-3 patients per hour in a focused and engaging setting.

Your practice will primarily focus on orthopedic patients who require outpatient rehabilitation services. The goal is to assist patients in regaining independence and returning to their daily activities through personalized treatment plans.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • A valid New York State Physical Therapist License without any disciplinary actions.
  • Strong manual therapy skills, with a solid understanding of effective exercise regimens for rehabilitation.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to manage patient information efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
