  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle — requirements, design, development, testing, and delivery.
  • Troubleshoot embedded software and system issues and implement effective resolutions.
  • Read and interpret schematics and component data sheets as part of development and debugging activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions.
  • Support coding and documentation activities related to embedded system development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (requirements through testing and delivery).
  • Ability to troubleshoot embedded software and system issues and implement fixes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Pittsburgh, PA.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with embedded systems in industrial, automotive, or heavy equipment environments.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or common embedded development toolchains.
  • Exposure to communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, etc.) or hardware-software integration.
