Job description

Corewell Health is seeking an EXPERIENCED Physician Assistant for an Inboxologist position in Southwest Michigan. This is a hybrid position responsible for a number of critical duties. The main function will be managing in-basket items for on-site primary care Providers. This position requires the PA to be IN OFFICE 2 - 4 times a month. The on-site homebase for this position is located in Bridgman, MI.

Additional duties will include:

  • Participate in call for second level triage, Monday through Friday 8-5 pm. No evening or weekend call

  • Primarily remote position with 2 - 4 in-person days monthly

  • Attend initial in-person onboarding

  • Manage routine medication refills

  • Communicate lab results as appropriate

  • Answer patient advice requests and patient phone calls

  • Manage MyChart messages and requests

  • Review patient data with Physicians & APPs for proper treatment

  • Documentation of patient records and EHR

  • Complete billable services such as but not limited to: E-Visits

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives for the Inboxology program

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.

  • 1 year of relevant experience in office practice setting/previous clinical experience in area of speciality Preferred.

  • 6 months of relevant experience Required

  • LIC-Physician Assistant - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire - Required

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association within 60 Days - Required
