Job description

The Inboxologist will support our Family Medicine providers by managing EPIC in-basket management, helping ensure timely communication, efficient task completion, and high-quality patient care.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, on-site position. Please note that this role is not remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret diagnostic test results and apply findings to disease management, coordinating care within scope of practice
  • Supports the practice through efficient and timely management of provider in-basket tasks, helping to enhance patient satisfaction
  • Reviews and respond to patient messages, lab results, and diagnostic reports
  • Triage and respond to urgent messages, results, and other time-sensitive clinical needs
  • Manage clinical orders, including prescription refills, lab orders, screening and diagnostic requests, and making referrals as authorized
  • Communicate with patients by providing clinical guidance and coordinating care related to test results, medication requests, and treatment-related questions
  • Accurately document all actions and communications in the EHR

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing as a provider in Family Medicine or Urgent Care
  • Experience and ability to work independently, managing commonly performed lab and diagnostic results across the lifespan-from infants to geriatric patients
  • Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program or an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current CPR (BLS) Certification
  • Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
