About the Sales Development Representative:

MarketStar is looking for a Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our newest client. Your role as an Inbound SDR will be to engage with prospects, help them understand the value of the platform, and move them forward in the sales process by providing qualified leads to internal sales teams. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in building the brand, creating a great first impression, and building momentum for Inside Sales Reps and the company.

Location: Ogden, Utah Hybrid

What will you do?

  • Convert warm leads into appointments while creating a great experience for our customers
  • Outreach to new prospects to initiate the sales process and build excitement around the product and the brand
  • Successfully meet daily, weekly and monthly KPIs to achieve established sales goals and objectives
  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries via chat
  • Manage contact info, schedules, calendaring, and communication
  • Maintain SalesForce hygeine while optimizing processes
  • Advocate for the client building interest and awareness of client's value proposition and assess mutual fit
  • Continuous learning to maintain a current, comprehensive knowledge of client's products and services
  • Other applicable duties as assigned


What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • Experience in Business Development or Sales (SaaS experience preferrable).
  • Fluent in English (Read, Write & Speak)
  • Strong sales aptitude skills, solutions oriented with a passion for the customer and the customer experience
  • High confidence and ability to quickly build trust within the first call, with strong soft skills to drive impact on the spot
  • Exceptional listening skills combined with the ability to synthesize information
  • Strong organization and time management coupled with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • High attention to details and follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Salesforce, SalesLoft, Outreach.IO and other sales tech stack experience preferred

US Hourly:Compensation Range: $40,000 - $43,000USD

The hourly pay for this position is between $19.23. Thispaystructure may also include a variable bonuscomponentof$5,000 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role's responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
