Job description

Position Summary

The Inbound Coordinator provides operational and administrative support for inbound receiving activities. This role is responsible for processing inbound documentation, supporting staging activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, managing inbound drivers and unloading on the dock, and assisting with distribution planning to ensure efficient product flow to internal customers.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Inbound Processing

  • Provide technical and operational support for inbound activities
  • Manage inbound drivers, paperwork and appropriate unloading activities
  • Receiving materials into the appropriate WMS and ERP
  • Tag materials and stage for put away
  • Manage trailer delivery schedules

Inbound Support

  • Assist in unload activities
  • Manage inbound truck drivers
  • Maintain all appropriate paperwork for inbound deliveries
  • Support inbound documentation accuracy and workflow efficiency

Inventory & Material Handling

  • Maintain inventory counts and report variances as needed
  • Ensure materials are properly sorted, organized, and staged
  • Support inbound product flow to appropriate departments

Equipment Maintenance & Housekeeping

  • Handle routine cleaning, sorting, and upkeep of department and docks
  • Change toner and perform basic maintenance on print equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Cross-Functional Support

  • Provide support to internal customers and operational teams
  • Assist with general inbound and distribution activities as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding workflow priorities
