  • Schedule: Part-Time: 4:00pm- 8:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Serve meals to residents in their rooms and dining rooms in a friendly and timely manner, following all regulations regarding special diets
  • Set up meal trays and dining room as instructed
  • Distribute and collect menus as necessary. Be familiar with menu and preparation of menu items.
  • Complete daily cleaning duties as outlined in daily lists to ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the meal service
  • Restock food and supplies in preparation of the next meal service.
  • Clear and reset tables.
  • Perform dishwashing/ cleaning procedures. Assure that utensils, etc. are readily available for next meal.
  • Record temperatures of food and dish machine water as required. Notify Manager when dish machine water temperature or food temperatures fall below required temperature levels.
  • Transfer food from Main Kitchen to work area.
  • Use computer to submit and process checks in POS system
  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform and in compliance with company dress code. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. Wearing a hair net is required at all times.

Requirements
  • Some High School
  • Some prior experience in a related food service position preferred
  • Possess a customer service background and orientation.
