Job description

Revolution is now hiring for an Assistant Shift Supervisor in the Reprocessing area of our Terre Haute, IN facility. This role will help lead a production team in processing various types of plastic through shredders/grinders for preparation to sell or reprocess. The successful candidate will be capable of working within a team environment and be individually motivated to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Train new employees, operators, and material handlers. Fill in for Supervisors as needed.
  • Actively promote plant safety and environmental programs and procedures.
  • Inspect equipment and product to ensure optimum safety, utilization, and quality.
  • Communicate with all employees concerning safety, scheduling, problem-solving, overtime, vacations, and training.
  • Review, analyze, and act to correct non-conformance in safety, production, policies, and procedures.
  • Break out Operators, Assistant Operators, and Material Handlers as needed.
  • Lead, coach, and support line process teams to improve quality, increase flexibility and reduce costs.
  • Promote and implement our Core Values daily.
  • Ability to understand and work well with team members, both in operations & support teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
  • A demonstrated capability of superior performance within a team environment is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and working knowledge of plant equipment and safety.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or shift work with a strong work ethic and employment history.
  • A self-motivated individual that can multi-task and lead others.
