Own plant-level quality performance by identifying, tracking, and driving resolution of internal defects and external customer issues to ensure our product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Requirements
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Own external complaint follow-up, including root cause identification, corrective action, and closure
2. Own internal defect tracking, reporting, follow-up, and correction to eliminate repeat issues
3. In-process inspection of products
A) Daily Out of Box Audits
B) In-process inspections of components
C) In-process inspections of assembly kits
4. Co-Lead Quality Round Table meetings that include review of Quality KPI's / Metrics, recent customer complaints, and follow-up on quality activities
5. Implement and update quality documentation
6. Support of special inspection and containment processes
7. Calibration of measuring equipment
8. Identification and initiation of engineering changes based on quality findings
9. Ability to make decisions on the aesthetic quality of our products
