Position Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring production equipment used in the manufacture of plastic containers. This position ensures that machines are running efficiently, producing quality products that meet or exceed company standards, and
that production goals are achieved in alignment with safety and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor blow molding, injection molding, or related manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
Perform start-up, shut-down, and product changeovers as required.
Inspect containers for quality, including dimensions, appearance, weight, and other specifications.
Complete production documentation accurately and on time (e.g., production logs, quality checks, downtime reports).
Identify and report mechanical or quality issues to maintenance or supervision promptly.
Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with 5S and safety standards.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, wearing required PPE at all times.
Assist with basic maintenance or troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Communicate effectively with team members, maintenance, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Experience with plastics molding or packaging equipment a plus.

Skills & Abilities:
Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment and processes.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
