You will learn how an in-house legal team supports a publicly-traded company and contribute to work that has a direct connection to Enact's mission of helping more people achieve and sustain homeownership.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide legal counsel, support, and guidance on applicable federal and state laws and regulations
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor contracts and non-disclosure agreements
  • Review marketing materials, social media postings, and customer communications for compliance with applicable laws
  • Conduct legal research and advise the business on regulatory compliance matters in connection with ongoing business projects and initiatives
  • Respond to regulatory and customer audits
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and customer needs
  • Monitor new legislative and regulatory requirements

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Member in good standing of at least one state bar
  • 2-5 years legal experience at a law firm, regulatory agency or in-house legal department, doing progressively more challenging work
  • Inclusive and open mindset
  • Strong prioritization, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player, dedicated to maintaining meaningful collaborative relationships with both internal and external constituencies
