The Office of Events and Conferences is seeking a Sales Manager with a proven track record of increasing revenue, a drive to identify new clients, and the ability to connect with and support returning clients. The ability to connect and build relationships with a variety of clientele from all industry sectors is essential. This position will focus on increases sales for Summer Programs, the Schiff Family Conference and Banquet Center, the Cintas Center, and other event spaces around the Xavier University Campus. A background in event planning, event sales, or event coordination are a plus!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads for corporate events, trade shows, conferences, arena events, and special events.
  • Proactively source new business by developing relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Coordinate site visits, event tours, and meetings with potential clients and key stakeholders
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for business growth.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in event sales, event planning, or event coordination preferred.
