Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Special Education Teacher at The Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center (L.J.T.C) in Lewisville, Arkansas 

 The Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center (L.J.T.C.), nestled in the serene setting of rural Lafayette County, is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk young males.  Pay: Follows an approved Teacher Pay Scale, starting at $55,000 a year and increasing based on level of education and experience. 

 $5,000 Sign-On Bonus ($2500 at 3 Months, $2500 at 6 Months!)

 What you will do: A Special Education Teacher will work primarily with students in an educational setting delivering a curriculum of Target Teaching methodologies. As a teacher, you will track student attendance, maintain student grades, prepare lesson plans, and assist as needed in the classroom setting. 

 To be considered you should: Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ currently have an active Teacher certification in Special Education. 

 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
