Job description

WHO ARE WE?
Horsepower Automotive Group (HPAG), is a leader in the growing automotive aftermarket industryWhen you join HPAG, you'll have a unique opportunity to be a part of our exciting and rapidly growing, multi-brand organization. Our brands include Addictive Desert Designs, DV8 Offroad, Flatline Van Co., and Rago Fabrication. We support a collaborative environment and value open participation from individuals with different ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
Are you ready to be part of our future?
Ever stared at a Raptor, Bronco, or Ram TRX and thought, "I could make that look even better"? So do we - every single day.
HPAG builds premium, made-in-America bumpers and accessories that flow with a vehicle's bodylines, deliver aggressive styling, and keep every OEM function intact. From the Bronco Bomber to the Raptor Stealth Fighter, our products live on some of the toughest trucks on the trail - and it all starts in CAD. We're looking for a CAD Designer Lead to turn bold ideas into manufacturable reality at our Chandler, Arizona facility.
Why You'll Love This Role
  • You'll own the R&D design process end-to-end - creating, refining, and improving products built for the off-road community.
  • Your designs won't sit on a shelf. They get laser-cut, bent, welded, and bolted onto real trucks.
  • You'll work hands-on with a prototype engineering team that takes parts from screen to physical reality.
  • Made in the USA, built for the elite - you'll be part of a team obsessed with the details that matter.
What You'll Do
  • Create CAD models in SolidWorks daily - from templates, physical parts, or your own designs.
  • Build complex 3D sheet metal and tubular assemblies ready for manufacturing.
  • Process 3D scans and create scanned mesh models of vehicle data to drive new product development.
  • Partner with the prototype engineering team to move new products into automation and production.
  • Take open instructions on part and assembly revisions and run with them.
What You Bring - Position Requirements
  • Strong SolidWorks skills - you can manage complex assemblies and create sheet metal and tubular parts with confidence.
  • 3 years - Experience designing similar automotive or aerospace products
  • Experience with tooling and fixtures, and the know-how to bring a 3D model into physical reality.
  • Working knowledge of machine work and processes for final parts.
  • Experience collaborating with an engineering team and producing accurate, measured drawings.
  • A creative mindset paired with the discipline to translate ideas into clean, manufacturable assemblies.
  • Self-motivated and assertive, comfortable in a fast-paced shop where priorities shift quickly.
  • A team-first attitude - you put the success of the team above your own interests.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Pay & Benefits
  • Starting at $75,000 is negotiable depending on experience.
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Paid time off.
  • Employee discount on the gear you'll help create.
  • Employee referral program.
Schedule & Location
  • Full-time, 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday.
  • On-site at our Chandler, AZ facility.
A Few Things to Know
We are a drug-free workplace. All applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Ready to design parts that turn heads on and off the trail? Apply today.
