Job description

Description:  Roseville Area Schools has an Out of School Time Site Coordinator position available at Little Canada Elementary School.  This position will administer and supervise the day to day operations of Out of School Time programs (Including School Age Care, Youth Enrichment, Targeted Services programming where applicable).  Hours of this position will be 6:30-11am and 3-6pm on most days. This is a 12 month, 40 hour a week position. There will be occasional evening and weekend work required.
Job Summary:  Position responsibilities: oversight and development of day-to-day management of out of school programs at the location including working directly with students, staff development, staff supervision, coaching, mentoring and evaluation, is a member of the Out of School Time program leadership team and school staff team, family communication, building family and community partnerships, program implementation, record keeping/data collection, compliance with program and district policies and procedures, safety and security and encouraging a variety of enrichment and instructional strategies that support student success.
Qualifications



  • 4 year degree in related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in out of school time programs supervising staff and working with diverse youth and families is necessary.
  • Must have own car for supply shopping and off site trainings and meetings.
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Dual language - English & Spanish (preferred).

The ideal candidate will also have the following skills: knowledge and experience in PreK-12 systems, direct experience working with elementary and/or middle school youth and developmentally appropriate practices, good communication, continually developing equity lens, experience supervising, evaluating and providing work direction to staff, self-direction, problem solving, flexibility, positive attitude, professionalism, technology, and dependability.
Compensation: Starting hourly rate of $26.00-$29.00 plus a district contribution to health insurance and other benefits.
