Credence has an immediate need for a Integrated Master Scheduler at the SME level to support HQ AFMC A4/10 at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. 

The Headquarters Air Force Material Command Directorate of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection, and Nuclear Integration (HQ AFMC/A4/10) has the AFMC mission responsibility to: shape the workforce and infrastructure to provide logistics, sustainment, and installation support for acquisition logistics, supply management, depot maintenance, and base-level logistics operations, and deliver responsive strategic facility and infrastructure oversight and over-arching direction for all Major Command (MAJCOM) security operations...resulting in war-winning expeditionary capabilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

  • Provide A&AS support to the Government on strategic scheduling and planning documentation, including the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Develop and manage the Enterprise Integrated Master Schedule (E-IMS) and assist program teams in developing and updating program-specific IMS documentation.
  • Develop and coordinate reporting frameworks for event-based activities to support overall program schedules, including periodic program and scheduling analyses and targeted schedule studies to identify trends and practices detrimental to FMS program success.
  • Work with program teams to identify schedule and resource risks and issues across the program or enterprise, perform "What-If" analyses, and reflow schedules.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with prime contractors to verify schedules and keep schedules aligned with the E-IMS.
  • Create and maintain schedules of Government activities performed by Government stakeholders using scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project, to build a linked network that can be integrated with contractor schedules.
  • Maintain a baselined schedule of Government activities and provide periodic schedule status updates to meet program needs.
  • Perform schedule health and risk assessments on Government, OEM, and integrated program schedules as needed.
  • Report schedule status and assessments as required to inform program office decisions.
  • Prepare Government activity schedules for integration with contractor activities and assess and analyze the combined program schedule.
  • Perform schedule analyses on OEM and Government schedules, including horizontal and vertical traces and status reporting analysis, to identify critical and driving paths, missing content, out-of-sequence activities, proper status reporting, and schedule executability.
  • Analyze critical, near-critical, driving, and near-driving paths for integrity, execution status, and program risk identification.
  • Assess compliance with program baseline change management and rolling wave planning processes and provide recommendations for program performance improvements, where applicable.
  • Engage program office points of contact to identify dependencies between OEM and Government schedule integration and establish appropriate relationships in Microsoft Project files.
  • Perform scheduled health assessments and integrated Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) on OEM and integrated program schedules, accounting for unknown risk through techniques such as global work package duration banding.
  • Engage program office points of contact to collect information required to model known high and medium risks through specific three-point duration estimates on associated work packages, including risks tied to critical, near-critical, driving, and near-driving paths.
  • Perform schedule sensitivity analysis on OEM and integrated program schedules to assess the impact of schedule inputs on intermediate milestones and program outcomes.
  • Explore schedule excursions and alternative decision paths to assess potential outcomes and support program decision points.
  • Apply program knowledge to develop and coordinate responses to taskers generated from internal and external program inquiries.
  • Support risk management, project management, process improvement, logistics support, and strategic IMS analytics across organizational mission requirements.

Requirements

Education, Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must have an active or current Secret security clearance (or higher), verifiable in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/ professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements
  • OR BA/BS degree, and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements
  • OR fifteen (15) years of direct experience with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements.
  • Experience with Air Force policy and tasks related to Setting the Theater, including orchestrating capabilities across the logistics enterprise with supported Component MAJCOMs (C-MAJCOMs) to deliver complete prepositioned logistics capability at or near the point of need.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Understanding of risk management, acquisition program management, milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, metrics development and analysis, process flow development, business rules development, and technical documentation management.
  • Experience conducting analysis, developing schedules, tracking program milestones, managing risks, and supporting logistics-related program planning activities.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to interpret and apply organizational mission requirements to strategic Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) analytics.
