Job Description:
The ideal candidate will provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Supply Support services for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Mission Modules program. This role supports system sustainment, material readiness, planning, and logistics data management across multiple Mission Module configurations. The candidate will work closely with NSWC PHD, other Navy activities, and contractor teams to develop logistics products, track program documentation, support schedule management, and assist with life-cycle sustainment tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Define system supportability requirements, assess program documentation for logistics impacts, and participate in working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) supporting Mission Module sustainment.
• Coordinate with NSWC PHD, other Navy organizations, and contractor partners to support program schedules, deliverables, logistics milestones, and planning activities.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and long-range program or project plans.
• Review, maintain, and track logistics products by compiling and entering data into Navy databases, systems, and applications.
• Evaluate logistics impacts to technical documentation and assist in updating program artifacts as requirements evolve.
• Use the Navy's Enterprise Resource Planning system (N-ERP) for material master management, inventory tracking, supply chain visibility, and warehouse management tasks.
• Conduct research to identify relevant policies and procedures in support of Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) requirements.
• Support life-cycle management of technical documentation related to Mission Modules.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ability to learn Navy logistics processes, engineering workflows, and LCS Mission Module sustainment practices through on-the-job training.
• Coursework, internship experience, or 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, engineering support, maintenance documentation, inventory management, data entry, or a related technical field.
• Basic familiarity with data tracking tools such as Excel, web-based systems, or ERP-style applications.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, program plans, or engineering information with guidance.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track deliverables, schedules, or action items.
• Good communication skills and willingness to participate in meetings, working groups, and IPTs.
• Ability to conduct basic research into Navy, DoD, or organizational policies and procedures.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (current clearance not required).
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply support, technical documentation, configuration management, maintenance coordination, material management, or similar fields.
• Exposure to any Navy or DoD logistic systems, such as N-ERP, OMMS-NG, RSupply, or commercial ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle/etc.).
• Familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support elements such as provisioning, PHS&T, maintenance planning, supply support, or life-cycle sustainment.
• Experience supporting program schedules, project planning, or developing Integrated Master Schedules.
• Ability to analyze engineering or program changes for logistics impacts.
• Prior experience supporting NSWC PHD, NAVSEA, ship programs, or Mission Modules is helpful but not required.
• Interest in growing expertise in LCS Mission Modules, system supportability planning, and Navy surface warfare sustainment.

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD Government- granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
