About the Role

Our Client is seeking an Ocean Import Specialist to coordinate full-cycle ocean import shipments, manage import documentation and customs clearance processes, ensure regulatory compliance, communicate with carriers and agents, track shipments, coordinate final-mile delivery, and maintain accurate records.



Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full-cycle of ocean import shipments from origin country to final destinations.
  • Prepare and review import documentation for Import customs clearance.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
  • Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing.
  • Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies.
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system.


Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Experience in ocean import operations or international freight forwarding (preferred)
  • English and Korean bilingual (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
