ABOUT THE JOB!
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and coordinates activities of receiving, inventory, issuing, shipping materials, supplies, tools, and equipment. Manages movement of finished goods and parts within the stockroom.

• Knowledge of UPS Tracking World Ship software, FedEx Ship Manager
• At least 5 years' experience in shipping / receiving environment.
• Logistics experience in Import / Export
• Experience with cycle counting programs and inventory accuracy improvement
• Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledgeable in Incoterms
• Knowledge of shipping of dangerous goods as well as appropriate DOT requirements
• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• Experience in SAP a plus
• Experience in aerospace environment a plus
• Some college a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs daily management of material handling, shipping, receiving, and data entry.
• Manage layout of stockroom considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping materials.
• Maintain and review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures.
• Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
• Support and drive continuous process improvement
• Process both customer and vendor returns as required
• Support cycle count program to determine Root Cause and implement Corrective Action for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records.
• Determines and documents work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
• Works with Buyers to resolve invoicing and receipt issues
• Manage department to planned budget
• Review and coordinates logistics on both import and export of goods with Supply Chain.
• Works closely with Sales/Customer service to support customer orders and requests
• Schedule flexibility to support critical deadlines may be required
• Other duties as assigned
