About the Role

As our Import & Export Coordinator you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the movement of goods across international borders, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies. This role involves coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, communicating with vendors and freight forwarders, and ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods in and out of the cold storage facility.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Manage and coordinate all import and export activities, ensuring timely processing of shipments and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review all required shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations, including the proper classification of goods and adherence to applicable tariffs, taxes, and duties.
  • Communicate with vendors, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues related to shipping or customs clearance.
  • Track shipments, update stakeholders on the status of goods in transit, and provide regular reports on import/export activities, including volume, costs, and compliance metrics.
  • Work closely with the warehouse, inventory, procurement, and sales teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and ensure smooth operations.

What You Bring to the Pak

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in import/export logistics, with experience in cold storage or food logistics being preferred.
  • Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of customs regulations, including tariffs, duties, and documentation requirements, preferred.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills for working with vendors, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with logistics software.
    • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods while handling paperwork and coordinating shipments.

Pay Range: $21.00- $27.00 per hour

This pay range represents the Companyโ€™s good-faith estimate of the starting hourly compensation for this role at the time of posting. The actual rate will be determined based on a combination of factors including experience, qualifications, work location, and internal pay alignment, in accordance with applicable laws.
