The Maintenance Manager supports the Vice President of Housing Operations by providing leadership, guidance, and collaborative support for all HMC maintenance-related services. The role helps maximize the reliability of equipment and building systems, promoting safe and well-maintained environments.


Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid PA Driver's License required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of property maintenance, environmental services, housekeeping, building mechanical systems and operations
  • Two years of related supervisory experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as multiple other software systems


Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Provides guidance and collaborative support to PSL HMC communities for maintenance and service operations
  • Supports implementation and ongoing maintenance of environmental services, policies and procedures
  • Conducts routine community visits and audits of maintenance programs to provide support, identify opportunities and promote consistency
  • Supports implementation, management, and continuous improvement of preventative maintenance programs
  • Performs inspections and surveys of community service teams to support consistency, qualify, and shared best practices
  • Manages construction projects in collaboration with contractors, project managers, architects, community teams, and PSL HMC leadership
  • Serves as liaison for construction projects
  • Coordinates with appropriate partners to ensure required regulatory licenses and inspections are obtained in a timely manner for projects
  • Evaluates project costs and supply metrics to support corporate development and informed decision making
  • Supports community employees with acquisition and replacement of IT infrastructure and community IT equipment
  • Supports the integration of IT and security systems in collaboration with appropriate partners
