About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be a foundational member of Rippling's Payroll Implementation team!
As a Product Specialist, Payroll, you will partner with our largest customers (US and Global) and see complex/unique situations. You will work with our customer's HR and Finance departments to understand their requirements and guide them through GL, Taxes, Job Codes, Time & Attendance. You will also be the internal go-to for all things related to Rippling Payroll. This could include supporting new product/country launches, building internal training resources, and leading Office Hours.
The Payroll implementation team at Rippling is growing. This role offers a unique opportunity to not only work with our largest customers but also work cross-functionally to improve our product, enablement and customer experience.
What you will do
  • Become an expert on Rippling's Payroll products - You'll be a go-to resource for our clients within 30 days and a Payroll subject matter expert for your Rippling colleagues within 60 days.
  • Be a trusted implementation partner to our clients:
    • You'll need to understand the client's current Payroll and Accounting set up.
    • You'll need to guide the customer through their Payroll and GL set up as well as related Time policies and Job Codes set up where applicable.
    • You'll work closely with the Implementation Manager to ensure the client is set up for success.
  • Partner with our Implementation and Product teams to evolve our process and product
  • Develop and document Payroll implementation processes and best practices.
  • Support new payroll-adjacent product launches and new country launches.

What you will need
  • A passion and curiosity for all things related to Payroll and GL.
  • 4+ years of experience in payroll implementation. This role requires a strong understanding of the below:
    • Payroll, GL, Taxes, Job Codes, and Time Policies
  • Strong project management and organizational skills: High attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to manage client relationships: Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with a bias towards action, energized by a fast-paced environment and excited to build.

The pay range for this role is:
58,320 - 92,000 USD per year (US Tier 2)
