POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning and leading complex technology projects that support the institution's academic, administrative, and strategic goals. This role will oversee major initiatives, including ERP migrations, system implementations, data integrations, and system improvements. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and vendor relationships, and ensure effective communication among IT, institutionaldepartments, and executive leadership. The position will also support change management, testing, training, documentation, and the successful adoption of new technologies across the College.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan, manage, and deliver complex IT projects from initiationthrough implementation and post-launch evaluation.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with competingpriorities.
  • Lead enterprise system initiatives, including ERP migrations,upgrades, implementations, and related integrations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams that may include ITstaff, faculty, administrators, institutional departments, vendors,and consultants.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and translate institutionalneeds into clear technical and functional projectrequirements.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues,change requests and resolutions.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates toproject sponsors, executive leadership, and otherstakeholders.
  • Coordinate data migration, system configuration, testing,validation, and implementation activities.
  • Oversee integrations between enterprise applications,third-party platforms, and institutional data systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, deliverables,timelines, and project-related performance expectations.
  • Support change management efforts, including stakeholderengagement, communication, training, documentation, and useradoption.
  • Prioritize projects in alignment with institutional strategicgoals.
  • Ensure projects comply with institutional policies, datagovernance standards, cybersecurity requirements, accessibilityexpectations, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, includingdecisions, requirements, meeting records, testing results, andimplementation plans.
  • Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, steeringcommittee updates, and decision-making processes.
