Job Description

Responsibilities:

o Responsible for planning, monitoring, executing and implementing projects. Assist in developing long-range plans and strategies to achieve business growth.

o Provide advanced business knowledge and technical support for systems development. Work closely with project members and requesters identifying deliverables and functions throughout a project lifecycle. Ensure the project or effort is adequately staffed, trained and managed.

o Manage effort within approved manpower and budget guidelines. Provide technical and advisory support for staff to ensure the development and implementation of applications/infrastructure where needed. May participate in the definition and development of project requirements and analyze requirements to provide a recommended solution.

o Ensure a successful delivery, which may include: development and management of overall project plan, schedule & budget adherence, status reporting, escalations, testing, user approval, final corrections, and methodology compliance.

o Manage relationship with project team throughout technology, product and regional organizations, which may include the project requesters. Provide senior management level status reports.

o Coordinate multiple project efforts. Log, track, and resolve project, business or release related issues.

o Demonstrate leadership qualities, display mentoring ability, project leadership and delegation, follow-through, and team participation skills.

o Responsible and Accountable for the overall management of the projects.

o Organize and facilitate project initiation, planning, regulate stand-up meetings, reviews, release planning, and other related meetings.

o Provide project status and steering committee updates and testing/defect resolution status

o Create, implement, and monitor the processes for requirements gathering and prioritization

o Work with the IT and product teams across all projects to establish and manage project plan from inception to delivery, including release deployments into production.

o Manage the project execution against the plan, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to specifications.

o Ensure cross team coordination and release planning activities are maintained;

o Provide reports to executives to ensure an understanding of execution status and project performance;

o Remove roadblocks reported by the team, which could require cross-team collaboration and or escalation, possibly up to executive management

o Create and maintains risk and issue logs, including working with appropriate parties to create mitigation and corrective action plans with communication to the team, product owner, and executive management

o Build team cohesion and foster good communication between various project teams

o Assist in the creation of processes and procedures with input from product development teams

o Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver to the goal

Qualifications

o Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of training and experience.

o Advanced degree and PMP preferred.

o Extensive knowledge of Project Management principles and methodologies

o Knowledge of credit and debit card operations.

o Prior experience in managing multiple cross-functional team projects.

o Strong experience in working with all teams across the organization both business and technical;

o Strong experience in managing multiple priorities in real time;
