Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial drywall and metal framing projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and client communication, while also supporting acoustical ceiling and commercial flooring scopes as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience leading commercial interior construction projects, coordinating field operations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and flooring projects from project award through final closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to identify scope requirements and potential issues.
  • Coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project costs, labor, materials, procurement, and subcontractor performance to maintain profitability.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
  • Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize delays, cost overruns, and scope conflicts.
  • Support project closeout by ensuring punch lists, documentation, and final deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • 3-8 years of project management experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior construction trades.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
