Job description

Cayzen Technologies is looking to hire a Senior IT Project Manager for several contracting projects with our clients. The project manager will work closely to provide our customers with project management services.  As the senior project manager for a modernization project, the project manager will lead a large cross-divisional project team of project managers, developers, systems administrators, business systems analysts, testing/quality assurance professionals, organizational change management, business subject matter expert, and technology vendors to successfully implement the project. 

Responsibilities of the Consultant:  

  • Draft, gain approval, and maintain project artifacts including but not limited to:
  • Project Charter
  • Investment Plan
  • Project budget
  • A Project Management Plan that provides an integrated approach to project management that includes benefits realization, schedule management, resource management, fiscal management, risk management, issues management, quality management, procurement/contract management, etc.
  • Project schedule
  • Resource Allocation
  • Risk, Action Items, Issues, Decision Making (RAID) Log
  • Use project artifacts and advance project management skills to monitor and control the project.
  • Define and implement effective work/task management strategies
  • Manage change control processes for the scope, schedule, quality and budget
  • Collaborate with the OCM manager to ensure organizational change management is integrated into the project
  • Prepare project status reports and present project updates to the Executive Steering Committee regularly
  • Ensure effective project governance
  • Evaluate and respond to QA findings and recommendations Develops and implements corrective action as needed. Monitors the corrective action and keeps Project Leadership and OCIO oversight staff apprised of progress. 
  • Manage vendor performance in collaboration with the PMO Director

The Consultant may complete additional assignments as necessary to ensure an efficient and effective implementation.
