The Project Manager - Power Generation Systems role will ideally be located in the Midland, TX and/or El Reno, OK. areas. It could also be based in the greater Northern California region with frequent travel to customer locations. Office presence at the Brea, CA location is occasionally required.
Overview:
Northeast-Western Energy Systems USA, LLC, a division of INNIO is looking for a Project Manager - Power Generation Systems to join the team. Working as part of our engineering team you will be responsible for field and engineering support for continuous duty and standby power generation systems inclusive of electrical and mechanical equipment. This position provides technical support to engineers, field installation support and coordination, commissioning and field testing.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  • Project management or project execution experience
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S Permanent Resident status
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Dutes/Responsibilities:
  • Provide commitment in daily activities
  • Have ability to execute decisions with speed and conviction
  • Keep well organized files and provide accessibility to others inside and outside of the department
  • Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible in working on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrate strong verbal, written, computer and technical communication and presentation skills

  • Electrical and mechanical equipment components and systems
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities

  • Direct involvement with moving mechanical systems and energized electrical circuits
  • Managing supply chains, shipping, Customs and importation requirements
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, operating systems and internet communications

  • Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning and performance testing reports with project engineers and Commissioning Director. Develop and package reports for submission to manufacturers, customer(s), and corporate database.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to facilitate installation of power plant equipment and systems.
  • Assist customers, engineers, and contractors with electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment through stages of project development, delivery, commissioning, training, and on-going customer support.
  • Coordinate plant pre-start activities, commissioning and field testing through commercial operation.
  • Provide non-technical support to project engineers
  • Be the positive face of the company to the customer
  • Other duties as assigned
