Why Join Omnicell?

At Omnicell, we are transforming pharmacy care through innovation, collaboration, and customer partnership. As a Senior Implementation Project Manager supporting Omnicell Specialty Pharmacy Services (OSPS), you will lead high‑impact, complex client implementations that directly influence how specialty pharmacy organizations deliver care. This is an opportunity to work with strategic customers, drive meaningful healthcare outcomes, and help mature project management practices within a growing, mission‑driven organization—all while working remotely with a nationally distributed team.

What You’ll Do

Purpose: Drive successful delivery of complex customer implementations and internal initiatives by applying advanced project management expertise, influencing stakeholders, and continuously improving execution practices.

As a Senior Implementation Project Manager, you will:

Primary Impact: Ensure complex, multi‑solution customer implementations are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while strengthening customer trust and operational excellence.

  • Lead end‑to‑end implementation projects for large, complex, and strategic OSPS customers, serving as the primary operational point of contact.
  • Own project scope, schedules, resources, dependencies, and revenue forecasting in alignment with workplans and contractual commitments.
  • Partner with customers and internal cross‑functional teams to define business initiatives, gather requirements, and translate needs into executable plans.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, facilitating difficult conversations with customers and leadership when necessary.
  • Document and communicate project status, scope changes, risks, and mitigation plans, ensuring accurate and secure management of project artifacts.
  • Deliver customer risk reviews and executive‑level updates to internal leadership.
  • Contribute to the development, adoption, and continuous improvement of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices across the OSPS division.
  • Analyze project and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and measure initiative success.
  • Mentor and support other Project Managers through onboarding, customer relationship management, and project execution best practices.
  • Support customers across multiple time zones and remain flexible to work non‑business hours, including weekends and holidays, as customer needs dictate.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in a dedicated project management role.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing multi‑solution, multi‑year projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Master’s degree in Business, Science, or Healthcare Administration.
  • Hands‑on experience leading systems and/or technology implementation projects.
  • Experience in healthcare or healthcare technology environments, preferably supporting pharmacy operations.
  • Experience working with Agile teams and delivery processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience using Monday.com.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.

How You’ll Elevate at Omnicell

At Omnicell, success is defined not only by what you deliver, but how you deliver it. In this role, you will demonstrate our Elevate Behaviors by:

  • Inspire: Leading customer engagements with confidence and transparency, influencing teams through complex and high‑stakes implementations.
  • Develop: Mentoring fellow Project Managers and continuously strengthening project management capabilities within OSPS.
  • Execute: Owning results, managing risk proactively, and delivering on commitments—even in ambiguous or evolving environments.
  • Impact: Challenging the status quo, driving process improvements, and contributing to scalable, best‑in‑class implementation practices.

Work Conditions

  • 100% remote‑enabled from any US location.
  • Up to 25% US‑based travel required.
  • Extended periods working at a computer and using video collaboration tools.
  • Must be willing and able to support work during non‑business hours, including weekends and holidays, as customer needs dictate.
