Job Description

Summary:

This role will be responsible for managing the project of converting the ADP Payroll upgrade and converting a newly acquired ADP Vantage system. The Project Manager will manage all the moving parts for both transitions. 


Responsibilities: 

Successfully project manage the conversion of the current ADP PayForce process to the upgraded ADP Vantage.

Work closely with internal staff, and implementation team to gather requirements, collect, load, test, configure, train and deploy systems

Engage with the business to define strategies and requirements, guide cross functional teams through the implementation process, configure the application modules according to requirements, and develop system interface and data conversion plans

Work with implementation team to identify and resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe

Develop a thorough and comprehensive testing strategy for the Payroll/HCM specific configuration, including full unit, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing

Cross-Functional Team Leadership, Planning, Implementation, and Prioritization

Map out a process of Data Mapping from PayForce and preparing the Data to be entered into ADP Vantage

Data Mapping, Data Extraction, Data Cleansing within PeopleSoft HR

Provide guidance on best practices on major ERP Conversion Projects

Report to stakeholders and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization that are involved in the project

Regular in-depth review of project status

Post-implementation process improvement


Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Information Technology, HRIS or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

Project Management (PMP) training/certification preferred

Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience including at least 5 years of project management or consulting experience

5 years Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial software experience required

5 years implementing functional solutions with HR System/ERP or Cloud-Based/SaaS software, highly desired

Strong experience in ADP implementation/conversion from both a Payroll aspect, as well as an IT aspect

Experience working on a system conversion or implementation project is required

Soft skills include: Self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple tasks, work under strict deadlines and exhibit a team player attitude

Must be able to demonstrate very effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Must be able to relate key information in a clear and concise manner

Must be able to demonstrate strong influencing and collaboration skills, and the ability to effectively drive process improvement initiatives

Strong project management, organizational skills and attention to detail will be key to success in the role

Must be system savvy with a strong HR Systems background. Experience with Workday and PeopleSoft HR Systems, or comparable systems

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
