Position Overview

CereCore is seeking a Project Manager II to support and coordinate a variety of MEDITECH Expanse implementation projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective collaboration with stakeholders, and proactive project management to ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. The Project Manager will assist in project coordination, support system implementation efforts, and facilitate communication across teams to ensure a smooth transition throughout each phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing MEDITECH Expanse implementation projects, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to documentation of technical and functional requirements, providing system guidance to clients.
  • Participate in workflow and gap analysis, offering recommendations for process improvements.
  • Support system build activities and participate in testing events to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Provide onsite and remote support for clients and team members.
  • Identify risks and issues, escalating them appropriately per project guidelines.
  • Maintain proper project tracking, status reporting, and adherence to issue and risk escalation processes.
  • Assist in post-project review and documentation updates.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of IT project management experience required.
  • Exposure to hospital operations preferred.
  • Experience with EHR implementation projects, particularly MEDITECH Expanse, is a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate project requirements and collaborate effectively within project teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and accountable approach.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor with a customer service focus.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Healthcare, Business, or related field).
