Job description

U.S. Bridge is a bridge fabricator and general contractor with a primary focus on the public sector. Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to coordinate and support engineering, procurement and production of all projects after retrieving relevant information from the sales department. The position will be one point contact for all the departments and sales force during the execution of the projects.
Job Duties
  • Develop project scope, objectives and deliverables by reviewing project proposals, plans, specifications and contracts; conferring with management.
  • Review project scope for value adding suggestions/activities in line with USB's preferred way of project execution.
  • Prepare project schedule and milestones for individual departments by studying project plans, specifications and contracts; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements. Maintain overall project schedule.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to individual departments along with appropriate milestones for departmental deliverables. Coordinate actions of various departments for efficient and timely project completion.
  • Serve as one point contact for sales, customers and USB management for project progress. Control and document the communications on each project with the help of individual departments.
  • Investigate potentially serious situations which may result in backcharges and implement corrective measures
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
  • Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings to improve project execution.
  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

Job Requirements
Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Familiarity with steel fabrication procedures and methods
